Kris Zerby's Sewing School for Kids

I teach children's sewing lessons at Jo-Ann Fabrics in State
College and also in my home in Bellefonte. Children from ages
6 and up learn the basics of sewing machine operation and
safety, how to choose appropriate project materials, and then
create crafts and clothing of their own design, eventually
presenting their completed projects in our annual Fashion
Show. Sewing is fun, builds self-esteem, and teaches organizational
and problem-solving skills. I provide sewing machines and
all equipment required...kids need only bring their materials,
and most importantly - their natural enthusiasm!
