Ridge & Valley Outings Club

The Ridge & Valley Outings Club was formed in 1991 with the following statement of purpose...

". . .to promote the enjoyment of the natural and cultural environment by non-competitive outings events."

All activities are open to the public.   Join the fun with our outings for everyone: hiking, backpacking,  cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, trail work, canoeing, mountain bicycling, birding & wildflower walks

Most of our trips are on weekends, with longer Saturday trips and easier Sunday trips, plus a few 2- or 3-day backpacking weekends. Tuesday evening hikes are popular in spring, summer, and fall. Trips suited to all ages and ability levels can be found. Occasionally members schedule a social gathering, such as a picnic or potluck, or campout.
